Yeah, that's straight up life imitating art, right down to Putin having almost the exact same facial expression as Viktor Petrov, the president of Russia in the House of Cardsuniverse, who seems as excited by a smiling Frank Underwood as Putin is by Trump.

It's hardly the first time the show and reality have blurred to the point of it being hard to tell which is which, like those Comey tweets or the NSA hacking report.
