Bryce Dallas Howard returned to the Star Wars universe in the latest season of The watch adult movies onlineMandalorian, and she baked in a tribute to her dad, Solo director Ron Howard.
In "Chapter 11: The Heiress," there's a moment when Mando's ship, the Razor Crest, descends rapidly into a planet's atmosphere. The quick series of shots shows us the ship from multiple angles as atmospheric forces pull at it during its high-speed fall.
One fan noticed that the moment lines up almost exactly with a similar sequence of shots from the senior Howard's 1995 based-on-a-true-story film, Apollo 13. So she cut together a little comparison video and tagged Bryce.
Turns out, she was right. The moment was an intentional homage to Apollo 13, as Bryce herself confirmed when she shared the tweet.
