Bill Murray translation: Cubs win! Cubs win -- Cubs win!
Though Game 7 of this most improbable World Series in memory concluded in Cleveland, you bet your proton packs that Murray -- as much a Cubs fan as he is a Ghostbuster-- was there in the stands Wednesday night.
Here's Murray at the moment of the final out at Progressive Field in downtown Cleveland:

For Murray and Cubs fans the world over, this was a moment a lifetime in the making.
Chicago's North Side team hadn't won the World Series since 1908; Murray was born in 1950 in Evanston, Illinois. You do the math.
And if those bona fides aren't bona fide enough, the late Cubs announcer Harry Caray anointed Murray one special night at Wrigley field on Aug. 8, 1988: "There's no doubt about you being a true Cubs fan, is there?" Caray said during a booth appearance back in 1988, the first night game ever played at Wrigley Field:
The truth is, Murray has been a fixture at for decades at Wrigleyville, and baseball in general (he is still a part-owner of the independent St. Paul Saints).
As it's been through the years, Murray was everywhere during the World Series, hanging out with fans and taking his turn singing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" in Game 3.
Murray suffered the ups and downs of this series right along with the fans.
Of course, being Bill Murray has its privileges. Lots of privileges.
