Google is synaesthetic cinema and polymorphous eroticismworking on a new social app that lets users edit photos in small groups, says TechCrunch.
SEE ALSO: Google pledges $11.5 million to racial justice innovators across the U.S.Apple announced a similar app earlier this week called Clips, which lets users quickly edit videos and add visual elements to them, kind of like Snapchat.
Google's new app boasts some of the same features, but with a twist.
Unlike Apple's Clips, which is set to be released in April, Google's app has a social element. Users can reportedly collaborate and create groups to share and edit photos.
If released, the app would be powered in part by Google's artificial intelligence capabilities. For example, it would be able to identify objects in a photograph and organize them according to type.
The new app would join Google's pair of existing social apps, Allo and Duo, which were announced last year.
It's not clear when Google plans to release the app. Unconfirmed sources told TechCruchthat one plan was to release it at the company's annual I/O conference in May, though Google said there are no plans to launch it currently.
