In the wake of Donald Trump's election, group sex movies many concerned voters have taken to personally lobbying Congress about the President-elect's cabinet picks.
Informative guides on lobbying Congress like the "We're His Problem Now" Calling Sheet or Jezebel's piece on effective congressional lobbying (please look at these) have led to a surge of individual calls to representatives. None of them, however, give tips on how to bring up fun stuff like HBO's Westworldwhile you have them on the phone.

Also though, I think that your representatives are people too and it would be nice of you to talk about something cool like HBO's Westworldwhile you've already got their attention.
For example, you could say something like this:
"Hello, this is [Your name], I’m a resident of [Your district]. I’m calling to ask if [Your congressperson] has a statement or plan for dealing with [Specific topic of concern]. Also, I was curious as to whether or not [Your congressperson] thinks the Westworldrobot horses have the same software as the robot people and if all you’d need to do is bump up their intelligence like Sylvester and Felix do for Maeve to make them talk."
They aren’t lunatics — they’re watching Westworld every Sunday at 9 p.m. and spending every episode wondering about the horses just like the rest of us.
Going off script and being yourself is fine. Don’t be nervous! This is yourrepresentative, they work for youand the rest of their constituents. Also, they aren’t lunatics — they’re watching Westworldevery Sunday at 9 p.m. and spending every episode wondering about the horses just like the rest of us.
If, after being connected to a staff member of your representative, you don’t receive a satisfying answer, ask to speak with a senior staffer. They should know more about the representative’s stance and also are more likely to have an HBO Go account.
There’s also a possibility that you’ll only be able to leave a message, in which case you should state your phone number, a brief outline of your question or concern and a detailed explanation of why you think Westworldhas too many bad guys who wear hats and have black hair (very confusing).
While individual lobbying is a great exercise in democracy, an in-person meeting with your representative is also possible. If you know a large group of people who share your views on your topic of concern, setting up a group visit to your congressperson’s state office could bring about real change. Last week, I brought 300 friends to Senator Bob Casey of Pennsylvania’s Harrisburg office to express concerns about Steve Bannon’s appointment and also to ask him if he could reach out to HBO to find out if the maze in Westworldis a physical maze or more of a metaphorical maze because if it’s metaphorical a lot of us are going to feel ripped off.
While Senator Casey wasn’t able to speak with our group, he did end up condemning Bannon’s appointment. Also, those of us who drove together were able to talk about the maze thing and came to the conclusion that it’s probably a little bit of both, which is cool.
Remember, there is a human element to Washington that is often overlooked. Respect, brevity and an understanding of the process go a long way. So whether your representative shares your political beliefs or not, or if they’re one of those people who think Ford is a robot (dumb) or not (smart), it’s worth your time and effort to talk with them.
NOTE:Mashable does not actually suggest you talk to your representatives about Westworld, this is a joke. Call them and talk about real things. It's important.
