Huawei's upcoming Mate 20 smartphone,Watch How Young Sisters Share a Man Online in combination with the company's upcoming wireless earbuds, the FreeBuds 2 Pro, will have a clever feature that will provide some extra listening time in desperate situations.
According to a report by German outlet WinFuture, both devices will support wireless charging, and you'll be able to charge the FreeBuds 2 Pro simply by placing their case on the back of the Mate 20.

Of course, if your phone is also low on battery, this won't be as useful, but the scenario in which your phone is charged up but your wireless earbuds' battery is dead isn't that uncommon.
Most newer Android phones can charge other devices for a while now, but you need a cable to do that. Being able to do so wirelessly is a clever twist on the idea, and just the notion of the phone itself being a sort of a wireless charging mat makes the geek inside me happy.

Other features of note include support for Hi-Res Wireless Audio (HWA), Bluetooth 5.0 support, Google Assistant support and a look that's a lot closer to Apple's AirPods than the original FreeBuds. Price should be 150 to 160 euros, which is a bit under $200, the price of the original FreeBuds.
If any of this is true, it'll probably be official on October 16, when Huawei's slated to launch the Mate 20 and (probably) the new FreeBuds.
