From a disposable camera app to perfume,Korea Archives YouTuber David Dobrik has been widening his empire to include his own products. His latest ties in his penchant for giveaways: the Hundred Thousand Dollar Puzzle.
Unlike Dobrik's previous giveaways, this one won't include a Tesla, but it will offer cash. The Hundred Thousand Dollar Puzzle costs $30 to buy, and it may reward you with somewhere between 25 cents and $100,000.
Here's how it works: assembling the puzzle will reveal a QR code. Once you scan the code you'll be directed to a site where you plug in a unique verification code that came on the puzzle box. From there, you'll know your winnings and can be paid out via platforms like PayPal or Venmo.
According to the site's FAQ page, puzzle orders will start shipping the week of December 21, though that may change due to the pandemic. The rules state that the game ends on March 31 of next year (or until they sell out), so you have some time to complete the 500-piece puzzle, but not forever.
Puzzles are having a moment during the pandemic, as they're an ideal activity to pass the endless days at home without looking at a screen. Now is the perfect time, then, for the Hundred Thousand Dollar Puzzle to make its debut.
Dobrik believes so too, saying, "I've always found that giving money is the perfect gift, it's simple and everyone loves to get it. Super excited for this to come out in time for the holidays and for everyone to be a winner!"
Considering the cash incentive, this may be the most excited you've ever been to finish a puzzle.
