If you don't watch Game of Thrones or KalakalThe Walking Dead, you probably at least know that the ubiquitous shows feature unusually high death tolls.
Graphic designer Nantes Rykaart wasn't satisfied not knowing which of the two gory series has actually been the most deathly. So he created a detailed infographic that shows a clear winner (if killing more characters makes something a winner, that is).
SEE ALSO: The 'Game of Thrones' wine that would make Tyrion proudRykaart declares The Walking Deadto have caused 1,216 casualties, while Game of Thrones caused a mere 704.
The infographic catalogues the first five seasons of each show. If it weren't for the casual murderers of more than 1,000 zombies on The Walking Dead, Game of Throneswould have been crowned most deathly.
Rykaart, who is studying graphic design and delivers pizzas for a living, told Mashablethat he got the data from articles on The Washington Post about GoT and The Walking Dead, as well as The Walking Dead Wiki.
"I also went back to both shows myself to resolve any discrepancies," he wrote to Mashable.
Zombies are coming.
