Winter has come to London. White Walkers -- a.k.a. the show's most fearsome creatures -- were causing a commotion among commuters at King's Cross Station.

Commuters were either bewildered or excited by the White Walkers' appearance, depending on their enthusiasm levels for the show, which premieres in the UK on Sky Atlantic at 9pm Monday evening.

Thankfully, the White Walkers were really just actors dressed up as a promotional stunt for Sky Atlantic. That said, we're sure they did a pretty decent job of freaking a few people out on their way to work.

Some were spotted at the ticket barriers in the Tube station.

Elsewhere in the station, musicians played the theme tune to the show, in case anyone hadn't guessed that the show was premiering that evening.

I suppose it makes a change from all the Harry Potter fans trying to get to Platform 9 3/4.
