We have Request Moviesa very important request to bring to Disney's attention, and it concerns a 24-year-old movie.
Please, Walt Disney Pictures, may we have a Hocus Pocus remake set in New Orleans featuring the stars of Hidden Figures?

The proposed remake would be set in New Orleans instead of Salem, Massachusetts, and would star Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer, and Janelle Monae as Voodoo Queens.
This dream cast also includes Chance the Rapper as Max, Quvenzhané Wallis as Dani, Zendaya as Allison and Kendrick Lamar as Thackery Binx.

Though this fan casting is still just hopeful thinking, there is precedent for viral tweets inspiring actual projects. Last spring, Netflix green-lit a project inspired by a tweet about Rihanna and Lupita Nyong'o.
Here's hoping someone from Disney is listening.
