He's mad as hell and Watch A Wife Who Lost Her Chastity To A Friend Onlinehe's not gonna take it anymore!
At least that's what we assume, judging by Jon Snow's icy expression in one of several newly released photos from Game of ThronesSeason 7 that hit the web over the weekend.
The latest images are courtesy of two international outlets: Spanish broadcaster Movistar debuted new photos of Jon, Daenerys, Cersei and Jaime via Twitter, while Slovenian website Dnevnik released a slew of new and behind-the-scenes Season 7 pics (h/t to Watchers on the Wall for the discovery) for our obsessive analysis.
With snowflakes in the air, it's clear that Jon Starkgaryen is marching somewherein the North with a purpose -- could it be to confront Littlefinger in the Stark crypts, since the Season 7 trailer gave us a delicious glimpse of the new King in the North manhandling Sansa's most persistent suitor? Or perhaps he's setting off for Dragonstone, hoping to enlist Daenerys in his battle against the White Walkers.
Movistar also gave us another angle on the trailer's opening moments, which see Cersei and Jaime Lannister making like Joey Tribbiani and going into the map.
Unlike our touristy Friends, Cersei's out for blood, not sightseeing, and Jaime's got a vaguely placating look on his face, like he's trying to talk some sense into her. We know from the trailer that she feels like they're surrounded by enemies, so perhaps her loyal bro is reassuring her that the Lannister forces are ready to march into battle. (Although it looks like that might not go so well for them.)
Dany, meanwhile, has made it to Dragonstone, the ancestral seat of House Targaryen that was formerly occupied by Stannis Baratheon in the years following Robert's Rebellion. Since Stannis met a messy end, the castle's back on the market, just in time for Dany's trip to Westeros!
Once again, this shot follows on from a scene in the trailer, which sees Khaleesi reverently touching the ground of her family's former home, clearly overwhelmed to be back at the castle where she was born after all these years away.
Another newly released photo features Dany in a different costume from the one seen when she lands on Dragonstone, rocking a chunkier version of her three-headed dragon brooch and a pleated skirt -- could she be receiving visitors from the North? (Nah, she'd probably do that in her sweet new throne room.)
For the most part, the Dnevnik photos discovered by Watchers on the Wall are other variations on shots we've seen before, or other angles of scenes in the trailer, but there were four that piqued our curiosity:
The first features Beric Dondarrion, the death-prone leader of the Brotherhood Without Banners, who has been resurrected six times by the Red Priest Thoros of Myr.
Beric was last seen offering The Hound a place in the Brotherhood as they headed North to face the "cold winds" that are rising there at the end of Season 6. The first batch of Season 7 photos featured a snow-covered Hound, so Beric is likely riding right alongside him.
The second is a behind-the-scenes shot featuring the most badass Stark, Arya. The Season 7 trailer showed her in decidedly snowier surroundings, while HBO's Season 7 photos placed her indoors in what looked like an inn (probably listening to Ed Sheeran), so this scene might take place somewhere along her journey from the Riverlands (where she murdered the Freys in glorious fashion) towards Winterfell.
Fans are speculating that she'll end up back home on account of a shot from the trailer that sees her poking around under a bed in a gloomy room that looks suitably Northern, and we're definitely hoping for a full Stark reunion in Season 7.
Next up, we have Tormund standing in the Great Hall of Winterfell (similar to the shot we already have of Lady Lyanna Mormont). Maybe he's helping Jon to convince the other lords of the North that the White Walkers are a serious threat, since he was with Jon at Hardhome and saw just how dangerous the Wights can be.
Last but not least, we have Ser Davos on the move, seemingly leaving Winterfell. Since we know Dany will have some visitors at Dragonstone, and the Onion Knight can be heard in the trailer urging someonethat they need to forge an alliance ("If we don't put aside our enmities and band together, we will die"), he's probably setting off on a diplomatic mission to rally some troops for Jon's cause.
These other shots probably seem pretty familiar if you've watched the trailer, but you can still admire the other angles that have surfaced below.
Game of ThronesSeason 7 premieres Sunday, July 16 on HBO.
