Here's a selection of images from the "Bridges not Walls" protest:

In London, a banner reading "Build bridges not walls" was draped across the iconic Tower Bridge.

Campaigners also held up letters reading "Act now!" as a speedboat with a black flag reading "build bridges not walls" raced down the River Thames

Protesters also unfurled banners on Westminster Bridge -- saying "Migrants welcome here" -- on Waterloo Bridge, London Bridge and on Millennium Bridge:

"We won't let the politics of hate peddled by the likes of Donald Trump take hold," said Nona Hurkmans of Bridges not Walls.
