We finally got a decent,Adultery Alumni Association (2018) first real look at Destiny 2's gameplay and, no surprise, it looks awesome. It will be out Sept. 8. on Xbox One, PS4, and PC (exclusively on Battle.net, Blizzard announced).

At a presentation today in LA, Bungie showed off some of Destiny 2,livestreamed to thousands of excited viewers. After showing off a cinematic trailer, above, the presentation followed with a demo of the game's first mission, Homecoming.
The mission confirmed what teases of the game in the last few months have all suggested: players will take part in an action-packed battle against the Cabal as they attack your home base, the Tower.
The Cabal's invasion leads to the fall of the Guardians at the hands of Commander Ghaul, the loss of players' powers, and (gasp) their vaults. This storyline arc ties into the developer's decision to not carry over players' progress from Destiny 1. This means players will spend time rediscovering their powers in Destiny 2's story.
Those abilities, as demonstrated in the gameplay reveal, are brand new. And they look like they came straight out of comic book super hero powers.
The first, Dawnblade, lets you either rain down fiery hell on your enemies with a flaming sword or slice 'em up in a closer proximity.
The Arcstrider ability lets you summon a staff and rip through enemies with acrobatic fury.
The Sentinel ability summons a shield to block attacks, but you can also chuck it at enemies a la Captain America.
In addition to the battle against the Cabal on the Tower, we got to see a slice of the beautiful worlds in Destiny 2.Everything looks like it's got a fresh coat of paint -- worlds are flush with color, UI is updated, new guns are shiny, and new class abilities are appropriately flashy.
Bungie confirmed that not only will players battle and explore Earth, they'll be touching down on Titan, Nessus, and Io.
Along with this, Bungie announced that Trials, Nightfalls, and raids will be available to all players in Destiny 2 with Guided Games -- their response to what they called the toxic environment of matchmaking.
With Guided Games, clans and solo players can find each other to team up for challenges -- solo players can choose a clan to do partake in a challenge with if they have open slots, and clans can fill out their groups to get a successful run in.
Clans themselves are getting revamped so they can be managed within the game. Clan members that complete challenges can earn rewards that are shared by everyone in the group.
In addition to new strikes, Bungie also announced a brand new PvP mode called Countdown where one team is on defense and the other team has to attack. The standard PvP mode Crucible will now be 4v4.
We will have more information coming out of the event after we get a chance to play the game and talk to developers.
