The Watch Devil’s Night: Dawn of the Nain Rouge Onlinelast time Guess tried to make a smartwatch, it was pretty lame. Now, the company is taking another swing, this time with a full-blown smartwatch that could rival other fashion brands worming into wearable tech.
The company dipped its toes into smartwatches in 2015 with a hybrid smartwatch called the Guess Connect. It wasn't that techy, and it was confusing to use. On Monday, Guess announced its new Connect smartwatches would have way more tech, although what it's offering is on par with that you'll already get from the market, tech-wise.

Google launched Android Wear 2.0 last month with two new watches from LG. The most significant updates include Google Assistant and being able to download apps directly and input text via swipe gestures.
The Guess watch also features "keyboard, Smart Reply, and handwriting recognition" as input mechanisms, which is new to the Connect but a feature of most Android Wear watches.
The watch, which is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 chip, comes in two sizes, 41mm and 44mm.
The watch can be customized to have over a hundred "combinations of display face, color, and sub dials." It also comes with a range of interchangeable strap options.
With most the tech being equal to other Android Wear smartwatches and interchangeable straps being the norm nowadays, the question for potential buyers becomes: Do I like the look of this thing?
Guess is expected to release more information, like price, about the watches at Baselworld, the watch and jewelry show later this week.
