The popular parody account calls out all your favourite movies by pointing out mistakes in joke tweets that intentionally "misunderstand movies and moviemaking."

Sean said this tweet about The Muppets Take Manhattanis an example of a goof that leaves no room for doubt as to whether or not @movie_goofs is a parody account:

Despite causing some frustration among movie fans who don't understand the account, Sean is only doing it for the laughs.
"I'd be happier if everybody got the joke; but, unfortunately, people thinking I'm actually that thickheaded is just a natural consequence of me pretending to be," he said.
Sean even has it right there in the profile bio: "Joking not trolling."
