Stephen King can Animation Archivesbe pretty vocal about adaptations of his work, and he's not one to hide his feelings if he doesn't like the end result.
The good news for people looking forward to watching Pet Sematary: Bloodlines, Lindsey Anderson Beer and Jeff Buhler's prequel to the 2019 adaptation of the novel? The horror master is a fan.

"In the book, this is the story Jud Crandall tells Louis Creed to try and dissuade him from using the Pet Sematary," wrote King. "The screenplay takes a few liberties, but it's a fine story. David Duchovny is excellent. The secret, as always, is caring about the characters."
Set in 1969, Bloodlineswill act as a prequel to 2019's Pet Sematary, following the story of Jud Crandell (Jackson White) as he first learns the secrets of town's ancient burial ground. David Duchovny, Samantha Mathis, Henry Thomas and Pam Grier also star.
