Miller Kern, the Mashable Deputy Editor of shopping and reviews, reviewed the headphones when they first launched in late spring of 2024 and was impressed by the 30-hour battery life with ANC on. Maybe more impressive was the overall comfort. "No exaggeration, these are the most comfortable over-ear headphones I’ve personally tried," wrote Kern in her review. A major highlight of the Sonos Ace headphones is the ability to use the TV audio swap function. This means you can transfer the audio from a compatible Sonos soundbar to the headphones. "This means you get Dolby Atmos spatial audio and head tracking, which create a surround sound-like experience in the headphones," Kern mentioned in the review. This feature is also perfect for anyone who watches late-night movies and doesn't want to wake the rest of the house.
