But it's only coming to the United States.
The cereal box design that has floated around advertises amiibo functionality with Super Mario Odyssey, making this quite a unique breakfast food. According to a press release from Nintendo on Thursday, the amiibo functionality gives players coins and hearts when used with Odyssey.

Later, an image of the cereal box's back was posted on Reddit, showing that cereal-eaters can place a Switch Joy Con up to the box to unlock content in Odyssey. Plus there's a maze and quiz questions to keep eaters' attention occupied in the morning (or at night, whatever floats your boat).

The cereal itself looks pretty similar to Lucky Charms, except instead of rainbows and four-leaf clovers the little flavored marshmallows look like mushrooms and ? blocks.
This isn't the first time Nintendo has had a cereal created based on one of its beloved properties. In the latter half of the '80s, Nintendo teamed up with Ralston Cereals to create Nintendo Cereal System, which was a single box of cereal containing both Mario- and Zelda-themed cereal. Most recently, Nintendo and Kellog's put out a cereal around the release of Mario Kart 8.
