Only a month after a buddy-buddy meeting with Trump in New York City, Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull made fun of the U.S. president at a charity ball on Wednesday night.

It's agreed by those attending that what happens at the event is strictly not to be reported, which is why Turnbull perhaps felt comfortable doing what he did.
But the audio of Turnbull's speech was leaked, and published by 9 Newspolitical reporter Laurie Oakes, who didn't attend the event.
"It was beautiful. It was the most beautiful putting me at ease ever," Turnbull told the crowd, accompanied with what appears to mimic Trump's hand gestures.
Turnbull also turned his attention to his and Trump's polling, which are both falling: "We are winning in the real polls. You know the online polls. They are so easy to win. I know that. Did you know that? I kind of know that. They are so easy to win," he said.
The pantomime was complete with a reference to Vladimir Putin and talk about Russian hackers influencing the last U.S. election.
"I have this Russian guy. Believe me it's true, it's true," Turnbull said.
Speaking on radio station 3AWon Thursday afternoon, Turnbull said he was "disappointed" and it was a "breach of faith" that the audio leaked.
"I guess what that means what that means is next year, at the Midwinter Ball, is that I will read selected passages from budget paper number 2," Turnbull said. On the impersonation, he said it was "lighthearted, it's affectionate, good-natured and the butt of my jokes was myself."
While Turnbull's performance might not have much on Alec Baldwin's, of which Trump isn't a fan, it does at least reveal some world leaders act one way to Trump when the cameras are on and a completely different way when they're off.
